After the launching of a completely new generation of Elantra, and Vern, and a completely new range of model Ioniq, the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai is preparing a new generation of compact i30.
This representative of Hyundai in the C-segment in its current version (September 2011 represented in the exhibition in Frankfurt) is available as a hatchback with three or five doors, and as caravan. There were no reports from Seoul, but it seems it will going to be the same with the new generation of the model, but it is understood that the new i30 can appear already this autumn at the salon cars in Paris.
From sources close to the company we find out that the new i30 will get a slightly longer wheelbase compared with the current model, which certainly guarantee more space inside, which means more seats for rear passengers. In the range of engines should be find 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine with 100 hp and 120 hp and 1.6-liter from the current i30, but with some modifications. From diesel engines there are expected 1.4 and 1.6 liter CRDi engines also with more power and less consumption.
Sporty i30 N from earlier is confirmed for 2017. The serial version will have front-wheel drive and manual transmission with maksimal speed to 250 km / h, but in the 2018 will appear variant with automatic transmission. So far is mentioned 2.0 liter engine, which is tested with the power of 263 KS and 308 Nm of torque, but also is mention with the far greater force.
