Mercedes officially unveiled the specifications and prices of their new SUV model GLC Coupe which was launched in March at New York Motor Show, and he will be shown at the market in September, and he will be a rival of the new BMW X4 and Range Rover Evoque.
The range of variations on this model will not be too large – he will have a choice of only two diesel engines and 2 models with different specifications. Both engines will be 2.1-liter 220d but will have 170 horsepower, while the 250d will have 203. Both will have CO2 emissions of 131g / km and fuel consumption of 24km / l, 9-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive .
Both variations in specifications will be Sport and AMG Line. Standard equipment on both will be Garmin satellite navigation system for parking assistance, upholstery imitation leather, the possibility of ignition, keyless vehicle, front heated seats and LED headlights. Sport model comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and black grille forward until AMG Line will be minor changes to the bodywork, 19-inch wheels and chrome grille, while inside there will be a sports steering wheel and pedals, and black roof.
The design is inspired by the larger model GLE Coupe (with whom he has the same roof line, rear and rear lights), as well as ordinary GLC which has identical front and a man who is 8cm long and 4cm wide.
GLC Coupe can accommodate 5 persons and boot space of 491 liters (a little less than that of GLC featuring 550) increased by folding the rear seat, and then is 1,205 liters.
At the end of 2016, Mercedes will start offering and plug-in hybrid version of the model, which will have 320 horsepower, 4MATIC all-wheel drive, 7-speed automatic transmission iCO2 emissions from 50g / km, while the 0-100km / h accelerates in 5.9 seconds.
The price of the most basic GLC Coupe 220d Sport would be around 53,000 euros, while the GLC Coupe 250d AMG Line would cost around 56,400 euros.
