New Renault Fluence will be ready in autumn

French automaker Renault completes its work on the new generation of the sedan Fluence which will be done in the corporate design style of the brand. The model will officially debut to audiences in Paris Motor Show in October.


It is not yet clear whether the future Fluence will get a new modular platform CMF or use a modernized version of the chassis of the older generation, built on the basis of an older architecture – that of the Megane II. Another question is whether the model will retain the name or suffers rebrending to improve the image. Analog process suffered Laguna whose successor is named Talisman

The new sedan will get a front optics LED Pure Vision in the style of the latest generation of hatchback Megane. Rear, in turn, will look like that of a sedan Talisman, when the lights are pulled toward the center of the trunk. As for the interior, it will be entirely in the style of the new Megane. Its characteristic is vertically deployed touch screen R-Link 2 diagonal 8.7 inches.



Probably Fluance engines will be taken from Megane. Hatchback debuted with six engines – three petrol, with power of 100, 130 and 205 hp and three diesel with an output of 90, 110 and 130 hp. However sedan will be offered in the GT version with 205 hp, while some markets will get a part of the old atmospheric engine with a displacement of 1.6 and 2.0 liters
