Mazda at this year’s Beijing Motor Show unveiled a coupe-SUV model CX 4, with a design very similar to Koeru concept that was shown last autumn at auto saloon in Frankfurt.
From multiple angles it looks like a raised version of the Mazda 3, but with more pronounced sporty profile. Length 4.6m, width of 1.8m and a height of 1.5m, it is not only stylish designed (on the chassis of the successful CX 5 model), but is also extremely functional in terms of space.
Available versions will be powered only the front or all four wheels. Those in front will have a 2.0 liter petrol engine with 6-speed manual gearbox and power between 146 to 155 horsepower, while the ones with drive to all four will use a 2.5 liter petrol engine (used in the Mazda3, Mazda6 and CX-5 ) with 6-speed automatic transmission and power of 184 horsepower. Mileage 2.0-liter model will be 18.7km / l, while for most it will be 16.7km / l
For now still do not know whether Mazda CX 4 will be sold in the global market (particularly in Europe), primarily because Mazda Europe branch company produces engines that generate high output, which this model must have.
