The third generation of the BMW X5 is only three years old, and in the following year at the stage will come a new model!
Mark Werner, managing director of BMW Group Australia confirmed that the new X5 is developing and CLAR lies the same architecture as the new Series 7. He points out that the current model will have a shortened life cycle because it will form the basis for the new X7.
In the BMW does not have much comment when it comes to X7, but what is known so far is that the X7 will be half a meter longer than the X5 and will weigh about 1,900 kg at the most difficult configuration. It is perhaps not a little, but when you take into account that this is a large SUV, which can accommodate up to seven passengers, and then not much.
The range of engines is not confirmed, but is expected to X7 moves from a range of different engines, including a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder, the new V8 and possibly 6.0-liter V12 in ultra luxury version. It expects a hybrid plug-in.
