The latest Report Says that ehe most sport RS performance of the current generation of Renault Megane comes with many new noveltis to oppose the Focus RS.
First, the new Megane RS is expected to be only available with five doors, unlike the current model who comes only in coupe version. Renault has confirmed that it will be more powerful than the current 275 hp, and now a new report suggests that there will be over 300 horsepower to be able to “hang out” with the Ford Focus RS.
The hot compact of the blue oval shifted from the front to all wheel drive, and it seems that Renault will repeat the same thing. The enhanced 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine is expected to be offered with a standard six-speed manual transmission and optional EDC dual-clutch transmission to accommodate every taste. There could be added management of the rear wheels, which we already know from “GT” version.
The development of all-new Megane RS Renault began when it began development of the standard model, which means that the company is working on the car for several years. Although at this point it is unclear when it will be launched, but expected it to happen in the second half of 2017.
It is still early to talk about its price, but the report mentions that the new model will cost around £ 30,000 in the UK. If this proves true, it would be significantly more expensive than the current model that the UK start from £ 25.935.
