Toyota GT86 gets fresher styling improvements

The Japanese brand has updated GT86 in 2017 with the redesign of the exterior materials better and newer technology, but not more power.

Aesthetic changes start from the front, with a larger central hole for ventilation of the bumper, and new front fog lamps and LED lighting groups. Changes to the rear are more limited. Innovations include new rear lights and slightly modified rear bumper, while offering added and new alloy wheels.

Changes in the cabin are more detailed in order to improve the environment. The option was added leather and Alcantara upholstery, which also extends to the center console and door panels. Here is a new steering wheel, and the option of contrasting silver stitching on the seats.

Drive unit remains unchanged. 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine with 200 hp and 206 Nm continues to do its work. However, the suspension has been modified in order to get easy control and increased agility.

Pricing and full specifications have not been published, but despite the small changes we would not expect a big difference from the previous price of 33,000 euros.
